Leeds United boss DanIel Farke says he’d like four new signings before the transfer window closes in less than two weeks, with two attackers on his wish list. The German head coach has seen a host of star names depart Elland Road this summer, with Georginio Rutter about to be the latest to leave as Leeds ready themselves for another significant departure.
While the likes of Joe Rothwell and Jayden Bogle have come into the club, with Joe Rodon returning, Leeds need further additions and Farke is keen to see 49ers Enterprises get the signings over the line before the transfer deadline on Friday August 30. Speaking after a 0-0 draw at West Bromwich Albion, the Leeds boss re-itterated his desire to see new players arrive, saying; “We don’t need 43. I’m not a believer in too big a group, it’s not good for unity.
“We would need cover at full-back, in midfield and two offensive positions. Cannot guarantee we will get all of these, but four is roughly what I would like to see.”

While Farke would like to see four, one potential option as his full-back cover looks to no longer be there. Leeds have been credited with an interest in Chelsea’s young defender Bashir Humphreys, with Leeds understood to have been keeping a close ye eon the 21-year-old defender.
However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Humphreys now looks set to sign for Leeds’ Championship rivals Burnley, with a deal now agreed that will see the player move on loan, with an obligation to buy next summer.
