I will not play again: Nottingham Forest key player has decided to quit due to…

Nottingham Forest have just over two weeks to wrap up their final pieces of business for the summer, but now face some stern competition for one of their targets.

Nuno Espirito Santo must be delighted with the work which has gone on behind the scenes at Forest this summer.

Evangelos Marinakis has sanctioned six new signings already and with the prospect for more to follow over the coming weeks.

Forest are finally closing in on Ramon Sosa’s signing as the player lands in England for his medical after weeks of negotiations.

But it is looking like the Reds are going to face some real competition when it comes to landing one of their other targets.

Paris Saint-Germain now interested in Nottingham Forest target

Forest have certainly been active this summer and they have done their business relatively early, on the whole.

Most of their signings have arrived at the City Ground in time to undergo a full pre-season under Nuno having been involved in the Spain training camp.

According to Romain Collet-Gaudin, Paris Saint-Germain are now showing a real interest in signing left-back Bradley Locko before the end of the summer.

The Ligue 1 side are now eyeing a potential replacement for right-back Achraf Hakimi this summer.

Although Locko is viewed as a natural left-back, the Frenchman is also capable of playing on the other side of the defence.

The 22-year-old will now be returning to Stade Brest following his efforts in this summer’s Olympics under Thierry Henry’s management.

Nottingham Forest are keen on Bradley Locko

Although PSG are showing an interest in the defender, Locko has also received interest from the Premier League this summer.

Forest are keen on the £13m-rated Locko and would be willing to offer him a drastically improved salary if he was willing to make the move over from Ligue 1.

However, this is now going to be an extremely difficult deal for the Reds to pull off.
