I WILL NOT PLAY AGAIN:Rangers fc best player announces his sudden departure…
Nils Koppen has admitted that Rangers players could be leaving in the January transfer window and work has begun on replacements.
The club’s sporting director claims that the first step has been done which is to identify the positions as they need to be ready to enter the market and replace the outgoing players quickly.
Meetings have been held recently and the club are planning to bring in new faces come the turn of the year.
Koppen told Rangers TV: “On the other side there’s also the possibility that players will leave the club so we have to be ready to replace them where necessary. Again we’re working on that.
“The first step has been made and now the recruitment team is active to identify these positions.”
Rangers must be ruthless with getting players out of the door as well
Gers’ strategy to be proactive in selling players rather than simply letting them depart due to their desire to leave can significantly benefit the club financially and strategically.
By actively managing player exits, they can negotiate higher transfer fees, especially for players who are in demand or have a rising market value.
This approach not only generates immediate funds but also allows for better planning in the transfer market.
With a proactive sales strategy, the club can invest in higher-quality replacements or multiple players to strengthen various positions, which is crucial for competing at the highest level.
Moreover, selling players at the right time can prevent them from leaving on a free transfer or for reduced fees when their contracts are expiring, ensuring the club maximise their return on investment.
For far too long there have been players who could’ve fetched decent fees leaving for free and that’s not a very financially sound plan.
In other Rangers news, sources have issued an update as a senior figure has quit the club voluntarily.
