Nottingham Forest has provided an update on a player that was of interest to Nuno Espirito Santo recently.

 

Nuno Espirito Santo welcomed ten players to the club in the summer transfer window, whether that be permanently of temporarily.

The likes of Elliot Anderson, Nikola Milenkovic and Ramon Sosa have already made big impacts this season, with a much more well-rounded squad at Nottingham Forest‘s disposal.

 

Jason Lee has already shared how impressed he is with Anderson since joining for a big fee from Newcastle United.

 

However, it appears as if Forest have missed out on a rumoured free agent target, as Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on his X account.

Nottingham Forest were interested in signing Oumar Solet as a free agent over the past couple of weeks (as per BBC).

 

The Frenchman operated at Red Bull Salzburg prior to becoming a free agent, which sparked the interest from a number of Premier League clubs.

 

Nuno Espirito Santo already has Willy Boly, Milenkovic, Murillo and Morato at the heart of the defence so there wasn’t a desperate need to make a centre-back signing.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the defender has a new club.
