“UGA does fit me,” McCloud told On3.com. “Well, what excites me the most about Athens is it’s in Georgia and I’m from Georgia.
“…I also got to spend time with a few players as well and talk with them about UGA. Me and [Georgia linebacker] Gabe Harris had numerous of conversations about what it’s like in Athens and just having a player[‘s] side of it and to hear it from him of what it’s like also, that makes me wants to spend more time in Athens.”
Rivals.com has McCloud rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 13 ranked defensive tackle in the 2025 class. Fans will be watching to see if the Week 10 rivalry matchup will have any impact on McCloud’s decision.
