SHOCKING:Nuno Espirito Santo Confirm the suspension of two key players few minutes ago
Nottingham Forest are finalising their squad ahead of the transfer window and there are still a number of players who the club want to get rid of.
Although the Reds have only signed six new players this summer, Forest are still feeling the effects of a hectic few windows since returning to the Premier League.
Emmanuel Dennis, Joe Worrall and Josh Bowler will all be allowed to leave the club should offers be forthcoming before the transfer deadline.
Then there is the B-Team which is littered with a number of players who could perhaps do with loan spells away from the club – or in some cases would welcome the chance to move on permanently.
Alex Mighten is one player who hasn’t done much at all during pre-season – and now a fresh update has emerged on how Forest feel about the young forward.
Nottingham Forest make Alex Mighten decision
The versatile forward has slipped under the radar since returning from a loan spell with Port Vale – and now Forest are preparing to offload him.
According to The Athletic, Forest are gearing up to review options for Mighten with clubs from Belgium, Germany and Denmark considering approaches.
Mighten – born in America – now has ambitions to turn out for the USMNT and appreciates that in order to do that he needs to be playing football.
The 22-year-old has outgrown B-Team football now and needs to head somewhere where he play regularly in a position that suits him.
With the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Elanga in the first team setup at Forest, there is zero chance of breaking into the senior ranks any time soon.
Gary Brazil raved about Mighten during his time working with the Forest academy and there is a player in there if he gets regular game time.
