SHOCKING:Kyogo Furuhashi rejected Celtic Celtic term and conditions and insisted leaving few minutes ago…

Celtic are set to see their best player from last season leave this summer as Matt O’Riley is on the verge of joining Brighton & Hove Albion for a £30 million transfer package, a new Scottish record that surpasses the moves of Kieran Tierney and Jota. An agreement is widely reported to have been already reached between the two clubs and the Danish international will sign a five-year contract with the Premier League side.

O’Riley is not the only Celtic superstar to have been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer. Kyogo Furuhashi is believed to be on the radar of Manchester City, who he shined against in a pre-season friendly recently.

Manchester City have seen Julian Alvarez leave the club to join Atletico Madrid. Kyogo is rumoured to be on their shortlist of potential replacements for the Argentine World Cup winner.

Would Celtic be open to both O’Riley and Kyogo leaving in the same window? We now know the answer to that question is no although a move has not been completely ruled out just yet. As reported by GIVEMESPORT, Fabrizio Romano said:

“There is a possibility, it depends on Manchester City, basically.

“I think, obviously, Celtic are not making Manchester City’s life easy with this story because they want to keep the player. But for the player, it’s a big opportunity.

“So now City have to decide whether they want to find that kind of player experience, or if they want to go for a young talent. This is the internal discussion, but that could still be a possibility.”

Celtic have signed Adam Idah recently in a potential club record deal but the Irishman does not have the proven scoring record that Kyogo does for the Hoops. He has scored 73 goals in three seasons at Parkhead.

Also, Kyogo looked in fantastic form this pre-season. Brendan Rodgers might have figured out how to get the best out of the striker after all. This is not the time to part ways with him, no matter which way you look at it.
