SHOCKING NEWS;Ranger Loses a key player to the transfer window due to..
Philippe Clement’s body language is causing concern at Rangers as it is now starting to follow the poor image given off by some of his players, according to Derek Ferguson.
Exit speculation around the Belgian has gradually increased since the major impact he had upon arrival in October started to wear off, with Hugh Keevins suggesting in the Daily Record on 25 March that the Dens Park pitch controversy at the time could help speed up an exit to England.
More recently Keith Jackson, also in the Daily Record on 22 July, has mooted a departure during a frustrating transfer window and rough preseason form, amid a troubled relationship with wantaway Todd Cantwell and rumours he may be in the frame for the Belgium job.
And former Gers favourite Ferguson is concerned about the possibility too as he feels the 50-year-old appears noticeably reduced from the imposing character who first arrived in Glasgow.
Speaking exclusively to Ibrox News he said: “Even his body language. I’ve been looking at the players’ body language over the last couple of games and it’s woeful by the way.
“And I’m now starting to look at the manager. You could tell when he came in he was a real strong personality, got a certain way of playing the game.
“But I’m even looking at him, watching the interviews, and he actually looks like a real shadow of the guy that first came in the door.”
