SHOCKING NEWS:Philippe Clement confirmed the suspension of two key players few minutes ago

After a much-improved display against Dynamo Kyiv, Rangers got their first win of the Premiership season against Motherwell on Saturday 10 August.

While Philippe Clement’s side impressed at Hampden Park, the B Team also had a good afternoon as they beat Derby County 5-3 to pick up their fourth successive win.

Alongside a whole host of young players, Ianis Hagi was the man to stand out as the Romanian international scored a hattrick for the Gers after Clement revealed he would be exiting Ibrox this summer.

While the Light Blues are expected to pocket a pretty penny for the attacking midfielder’s signature, some pundits and fans have called for Hagi to be reintegrated into the first-team squad to bolster Clement’s options.

So far, there has been little evidence that the Belgian would be interested in doing so, but the Romanian himself may have just teased a potential U-turn with a new social media post.

Will Ianis Hagi exit Rangers amid Ibrox transfer speculation?

Taking to Instagram on Saturday (10 August) Hagi shared an image of him in action against Derby County with the caption “Home is good” followed by a blue heart emoji.

While the 25-year-old may just be pointing out the fact he is happy to be back playing in Glasgow, it doesn’t seem like the sort of comment a player who was desperate to leave Rangers this summer would be making.

If Clement was willing to hand the midfielder a second chance, it seems likely that Hagi would be willing to remain at Ibrox beyond the transfer deadline and instead fight for his place in the first team under the Belgian.

The Light Blues are lacking options in the number 10 role, especially with Todd Cantwell also out of the picture currently and the 25-year-old would offer a solution to that problem without costing a penny.
