SHOCKING NEWS:Nuno Santo Confirmed the suspension of Joe Worrall due to

One of the longest-running transfer sagas in the history of Nottingham Forest is finally drawing to a close!

Back when Billy Davies was in his heyday there was constantly a will he, won’t he situation with midfielder Darren Pratley.

The combative performer never did get over the line and Forest never got to see the player in action on Trentside.

Ramon Sosa has been the 2024 equivalent to Pratley – but it now looks as though it’s a case of all systems go for Forest to sign the winger.

The Paraguayan international has now given the clearest hint yet that he’s set to sign terms to become a Forest player.

Ramon Sosa pictured boarding flight to England as Forest move edges closer

The 24-year-old has waited for this moment for a long time and for a while it looked as though it might not happen.

Sosa has now been snapped by Ultima Jugada on X boarding a flight to England and now it looks as though things are very close.

Forest hope to unveil the Argentinean performer before their game against Bournemouth on Saturday – although it’s unlikely he will be involved.

Sosa has scored seven goals and claimed six assists during the 2023/24 campaign for Talleres and they didn’t really want him to leave.

Forest have broken Andres Fassi’s resolve, however, and £11 million plus a number of add-ons has seen the Reds strike gold.

Fassi has admitted that he didn’t want Sosa to leave for Forest but after a player revolt, he’s been powerless to prevent it happening.

Sosa will need time to adjust to English football

All of the clips and highlight reels showcase Sosa as a player who is confident in his own ability and not afraid to take games by the scruff of the neck.

Paraguay were largely disappointing at the Copa America but Sosa did manage to score once and was pretty impressive despite three defeats.

The Premier League is an unforgiving beast, however, and fans must remain patient when it comes to what Sosa can achieve in his first season with the club.

Callum Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Elanga are going to occupy the wide roles more often than not and Sosa will have to take his opportunity when it comes.

The saga now looks to be drawing to a close, however, and hopefully, Sosa can really showcase his potential during his time at Forest.
