Shocking News:Nottingham Forest handed ‘nightmare’ as £40m Newcastle United switch made
Nottingham Forest came unstuck for the first time in four matches against Newcastle yesterday.
The Reds lost 3-1 at the City Ground to slide down to fifth in the Premier League table.
Football now takes a break for the final international break until March and it gives Forest a great chance to take stock of things.
Murillo was hailed by Nuno Espirito Santo yesterday after scoring his first goal in the defeat for Forest.
He will now head off to play for Brazil as the central defender looks to produce the goods on the international stage for the first time.
He said on Instagram: “It was great speaking to Nicolas Dominguez after the game. He and the rest of the squad are disappointed but remain positive.”

Forest lose for first time since January after scoring first
The Reds had become pretty decent at taking points when scoring first and it’s very rare to see a loss come after taking the lead.
Dominguez is right to say what he has after the game though.
Forest were always going to have bumps in the road and nobody is expecting to finish as high as the team sits now.
It’s important that the team kicks on this season and there is every reason to believe that a relegation battle can be avoided.
Losing to Newcastle isn’t shameful and their team has been built over a number of years.
Forest are on the path towards progress and hopefully, this one defeat doesn’t completely knock the team in terms of confidence.
It was otherwise a disappointing day for Forest against Newcastle as the team failed to cope with Eddie Howe’s team in the second half.
