SHOCKING NEWS:Leicester City loses a key player to the JANUARY transfer window…

Manor Solomon must improve or face the chop after Jaidon Antony scored to send Burnley above Leeds United on Saturday.

The ex-Elland Road loanee grabbed his second goal of the season on 23 November against Bristol City to hand Scott Parker’s side a 1-0 win.

This boosted the Clarets up to third in the Championship, one point above the Whites ahead of their clash against Swansea City on Sunday (23 November).

Seeing a former Leeds player having a winning impact could see Daniel Farke question the contribution of Solomon – who’s caused controversy with his public support of the IDF in the Israel and Palestine conflict – so far on his temporary move from Tottenham.

Manor Solomon could face Leeds United chop after Jaidon Anthony goal

It is safe to say that things didn’t exactly work out for Anthony during his spell in West Yorkshire but seems to have found a home in Burnley.

This has seen the 24-year-old start 12 games and score twice already this campaign, matching his tally from last season in 25 fewer appearances.

This may prove a point to Farke that if the Bournemouth man is handed regular chances, he can be a weapon.

Because of this, the German may pay closer attention to the failings of Solomon given his true lack of impact since signing for the season from Spurs.

The 25-year-old has provided just one assist while going without a goal in his first eight appearances at Elland Road.

Given that the Israel international has Premier League and European football pedigree, supporters were expecting more from the forward.

When fans and Farke consider that a former player who wasn’t seen as good enough last season is scoring goals in the Championship, Solomon may be on the chopping block in January as other options are assessed.
