Tottenham Hotspur may recall George Abbott from his loan at Notts County in January, according to club insider John Wenham.

Abbott, who has been turning heads with his impressive performances in League Two, is seen as a player with significant potential, and Spurs could look to move him up a level to further his development.

Wenham praised Abbott’s leadership and adaptability, suggesting that if his current trajectory continues, Spurs will need to reassess his loan situation come January.

“I’m really pleased with Abbott’s performances at Notts County. He’s a special player who can play multiple positions, and at just 19, he’s already excelling. If he continues to shine at this level, we’ll need to re-evaluate and potentially move him up a division.”
