Levy told to sack Ange Postecoglou as O’Hara names dream Tottenham replacement
Jamie O’Hara believes Daniel Levy will soon have no choice but to sack Ange Postecoglou as Tottenham manager.
The Australian has come under pressure in recent weeks after a string of poor results, most recently drawing 1-1 away to Rangers.
It is clear that the pressure is getting to the Spurs boss after his bizarre rant about Timo Werner and his days in North London could now be numbered.
With a clash against Southampton coming up, the Lilywhites have to turn their form around or O’Hara thinks a sack decision has to be made.
And the former Spurs midfielder has named Brentford boss Thomas Frank as the perfect replacement for Postecoglou.
In his predictions column with Grosvenor Casinos (13 December), he said: “If Ange Postecoglou keeps playing in the same way, then I’m afraid he’ll have to go, I’m sorry but Daniel Levy will have to get rid of him.
“You can’t go on with that football and style of defending any longer.
“I love Thomas Frank and I’d have him at Spurs every day of the week if Ange left. I think he’d be a great fit as Tottenham’s manager if we could get him out of Brentford.
“He’s been brilliant there and if Ange does leave – he’d be someone I’d look at.”
Thomas Frank named as dream Ange Postecoglou replacement at Tottenham
Postecoglou has come under fire in recent weeks, which feels crazy given that Spurs beat Manchester City 4-0 just three weeks ago.
Regardless of that win, results since then have not been good enough with his side going five without a victory while also losing 4-3 to Chelsea after being 2-0 up.
This was highly frustrating for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium faithful and now a clash against the side bottom of the table looms.
If the North Londoners travel to St Mary’s and return to the capital without three points, it could prove to be the final curtain for the 59-year-old.
