Lakers, Warriors Are Showing Interest In Trading For Bulls Veteran

It feels that the Chicago Bulls flirt with the idea of shipping away a major star every season.

This year, the speculation is surrounding both Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic.

According to Brett Siegel, via NBACentral, Vucevic is attractive to multiple teams throughout the league.

Siegel wrote:

“… Vucevic, on the other hand, is drawing interest from the Warriors, Lakers, Pelicans, and Pistons, sources said. Several other teams may very well emerge as suitors for Vucevic ahead of the trade deadline given his production and experience.”

So, the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, New Orleans Pelicans, and Detroit Pistons might all take a run at signing Vucevic, which isn’t surprising considering how he’s doing this year.

Vucevic is having one of his best seasons yet on the offensive end of the court, averaging 21.0 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists.

Those are strong numbers, but some fans have called out Vucevic for his defensive inconsistencies, so will that hurt Chicago’s chances of trading him?

It is interesting to see the Warriors and Pistons attached to these rumors because they have allegedly been looking at several players throughout the league.

These two teams are clearly hoping to be buyers in the weeks ahead, even if they don’t sign Vucevic.

As for the Bulls, what other changes might they make after a potential trade with Vucevic?

Who else could be leaving the Windy City?

Has their time with LaVine and other players on the roster come to an end, and is the front office looking to really alter things for the rest of 2024-25 and beyond?
