INCREDIBLE:Nottingham Forest announce the return of former key player on JANUARY Transfer Market…
Nottingham Forest won’t have a great deal to do in terms of incomings in the January transfer window, as Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad is shaping up nicely.
Evangelos Marinakis is a busy man with all the conversations going on behind the scenes about buying new clubs and Edu’s potential role under his umbrella.
Nottingham Forest don’t have too much to ponder in terms of additions in January as they’re struggling as it is to fit everyone into the side, with Elliot Anderson on the substitutes’ bench recently.
The defence is pretty well stacked and has been unchanged for most recent games, with the defensive record evidence that things are working well right now.
However, January is the only time Forest will get to strengthen in their bid for a European place, so you can’t rule out at least a couple of additions.
Paul Taylor suggests two positions Nottingham Forest will look to sign players in this January
The January transfer window might throw up a few surprises in terms of players already at the club, as a strong start to the season will no doubt see interest creep in from various clubs as we draw closer.
Murillo has already caught the eye of Real Madrid, whilst Nikola Milenkovic has turned Newcastle United’s attention away from Anthony Elanga and on to him.
Speaking on the Forest Focus YouTube channel, Taylor thinks that a goalkeeper and a striker will be targeted by Nuno Espirito Santo.
“I think they’ll sign a striker and potentially another goalkeeper just give them three. Other than that, I say this with a huge caveat that it is Nottingham Forest, and anything could happen.”
