Nottingham Forest welcomed Nikola Milenkovic to the City Ground in the summer, and he’s recently been speaking on one thing he misses about playing in Italy.
Plenty of fans talk about the influence Murillo has had on proceedings at Nottingham Forest, but Nikola Milenkovic has been just as impressive.
Chelsea fans were impressed by Milenkovic after his performance against the Blues.
Considering he only joined for £12 million, it’s already looking like a bargain.
However, there’s one thing the defender is already missing from his time in Italy is, but it’s not the most important of things.
Nikola Milenkovic makes admission over what he misses in Italy
Nikola Milenkovic played his football at Fiorentina prior to making the move to Nottingham Forest.
Interestingly, Milenkovic actually caught a couple of Nottingham Forest games as a fan of the Premier League prior, so he was aware of the club’s issues with set pieces.
And, it looks as if something else he used to enjoy in Italy is being missed.
The defender, when talking in an interview to FSS, admitted he misses the climate and the food.
“What do I miss the most from Italy? Well, certainly the climate, then the food, which is really top-notch, and again, English football, that is, the league, are the best in the world, which is the most important thing to me. I enjoy it.”
Nikola Milenkovic’s performances so far this season
Milenkovic showed how much winning really meant to him last time out against Chelsea. He barked orders at Ryan Yates and Jota Silva to stop wasting time, as he wanted to get all three points.
Fiorentina are already missing the qualities of Milenkovic.
Chris Sutton even said that Nottingham Forest hit the jackpot by signing Milenkovic, calling it a shrewd bit of business.
