Good news:Leeds united have sign they dream player finally….
Leeds United have again been linked to sign Maccabi Tel Aviv striker Dor Turgeman in the January window as the 49ers look to bring about promotion from the Championship.
Leeds have a great opportunity to gain promotion this season, not facing an incredible uphill task to claw back the deficit to the top two – this time well in the mix for the title already
.The January window presents Leeds with a great opening to boost those chances even further by addressing any lingering shortcomings in the squad, which could be up front.
Here, we look at everything we know about an emerging transfer link cropping up before January’s window opens…
Israeli outlet Sport5 recently reported that Leeds had “officially contacted” Maccabi Tel Aviv over their striker Dor Turgeman:
“The team from the top of the Championship and with ambitions to rise to the Premier League was very impressed with Turgeman’s performances and believes that he can immediately upgrade it, and therefore made the first move on the subject.“
The 21-year-old has since been linked again through domestic reports from the Daily Mail, who claim that Leeds are monitoring the forward ahead of the new year.
Turgeman has emerged as a very talented striker for Maccabi Tel Aviv and the Israel national team alongside Manor Solomon, scoring plenty this season.
A striker by trade, Turgeman has also played on the wing during his career, which has been spent entirely in Israel so far.
At 6ft1in, Turgeman is a mobile and skilful forward, but is also capable of holding the ball up well in the final third under pressure.
