DEAL CONFIRMED;Philip Clement welcomes the return of Ryan Jack few minutes ago..

Ryan Jack has been pictured watching another Scottish Premiership team as he searches for a new club following his departure from Rangers.

The Scotland international left the Ibrox side upon the expiry of his contract at the start of June earlier this summer.

The midfielder has been without a club since and has been spotted training in Dubai alongside the likes of Arsenal’s Declan Rice as he keeps his fitness up in a bid to earn a contract elsewhere.

On Sunday, Jack was in the stands at Fir Park as he took in Motherwell’s extra-time victory over Kilmarnock in the Premier Sports Cup last-16.

Moses Ebiye’s header was enough to separate the teams, as the Steelmen were rewarded with a home draw against Dundee United in the next round. For Killie, their full focus remains on FC Copenhagen in the Europa Conference League play-off this Thursday.

Jack was spotted sitting next to several Motherwell players who are currently out injured, such as Sam Nicholson.

Asked about the 32-year-old’s attendance alongside the likes of Nicholson, manager Stuart Kettlewell provided a very coy response.

Sharply, he said: “I think Ryan was maybe just taking in a game. I’m not too sure about that.”

It’s believed Jack has been using Motherwell’s training facilities at Dalziel Park.

It comes less than two weeks after Jack was seen in Paisley as he watched St Mirren take on Brann in their European qualifier at the SMiSA. He also watched Rangers versus Motherwell at Hampden last week.

Speaking on the William Hill podcast ‘The Warm Up’ last week, Jack revealed there had been talks with interested clubs.

“I’ve spoken to a few managers in Scotland,” he said. “Ones that obviously know me, it wasn’t really too much on discussions on actually signing for the club, more to see how I am.

“It’s the first time I’m out of contract. Just touching base. There’s been a few discussions in Scotland but it’s more with managers that know me and who I’ve worked with before, touching base to see how I am.
