Deal confirmed: Nottingham forest has made up their mind by bringing him back due to…

Nottingham Forest right now with the club sixth in the Premier League.

Chris Wood scored his ninth goal of the season yesterday to edge Forest home against Ipswich as the Reds returned to winning ways.

It was Wood’s 24th goal for Forest and he’s now level with Bryan Roy as the club’s all-time leading goalscorer in the Premier League era.

Already this season, Forest have probably defied expectations and a number of pundits have already started backtracking on some earlier comments.

Gary Lineker has changed his mind on Forest, whilst Robbie Earle has also suggested that he no longer thinks the team will be relegated this season.

Nuno Espirito Santo has done well to change the perception of Forest in the eyes of outsiders – and it would appear that the Reds have a new fan who perhaps isn’t overly welcomed.

Anti Nottingham Forest pundit changes his tune after win over Ipswich

Before this season, Chris Sutton has never been shy in coming forward when it comes to sticking the boot into Forest.

He’s not typically had too many nice words to say about the team but this season there has been a different feel to his tone of voice.

This season it would appear he’s jumped on the bandwagon and started acting like he’s always been a huge supporter of the football club.

Max Scott who is a Forest supporter working for TalkSPORT was far from impressed with Sutton’s apparent new love for the Reds.

He posted on X: “Listened to Chris Sutton on 5Live for years. He would slate NFFC at any given opportunity and revel in the chaos at the club.

“But for the first time ever, after the win against Ipswich with NFFC sixth in the PL, he described Forest as ‘my team’.
