Commanders lose three starters for Steelers game, including powerful running back
The Washington Commanders are banged up heading into their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and they will be missing a few key players.
Cornerback Marshon Lattimore, who just joined the team after being traded from the New Orleans Saints, will not play against the Steelers. Lattimore is dealing with a hamstring injury that he suffered while still with the Saints and did not practice all week.
Starting running back, Brian Robinson will miss another game because of a hamstring injury. Robinson is their power back, and while they still have Jeremy McNichols and Austin Ekeler to use in their backfield along with the legs of Jayden Daniels, without Robinson, they have struggled in the red zone and in short yardage.
Left tackle Cornelius Lucas will be out. That means that rookie Brandon Coleman will start, who held Brian Burns to just three pressures a week ago. He will now see Alex Highsmith, who is coming off one of the best games of his career.
Starting right tackle Andrew Wylie and kicker Austin Seibert are both questionable to play against the Steelers with injuries.
