Celtic superstar: I think my presence is no longer needed am leaving

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is in the process of reshuffling his squad, and movement is starting to happen in both directions before the window.

Although it can seem a little tedious when frustrated by the lack of arrivals, outgoings are an important development that helps smooth the path for incomings.

Sead Haksananovic, Benjamin Siegrist, Hyeongyu Oh and Joe Hart have left the building. Hopefully, Rodgers can put their vacated slots and wage expenditure to good use.

Further exits are expected before the end of the window. Ultimately, it is the only logical way to have a balanced squad rather than a bloated group present at Lennoxtown.

Now, Celtic have confirmed another departure this summer as changes start to occur with weeks of the market period remaining.

Dane Murray joins Queens Park on loan

Last night, we told that Queens Park were closing in on a loan move for Celtic defender Dane Murray, who is making his comeback after a long period out on the sidelines due to injury.

It was hoped that he would complete the switch in time for the Spiders’ home clash against Livingston, and he has now officially signed on the dotted line ahead of tonight’s fixture.

Callum Davidson shared his delight at the capture, stating via Queens Park’s official website: “We have been looking to get Dane in for a few weeks now to bolster our defence and I am delighted he is finally with us. He was part of the Celtic squad that toured America this summer and that shows how highly they rate him.

“Coming to Queen’s Park gives Dane a platform to build first-team experience that will help him in the seasons to come.”

Following his involvement in Celtic’s USA tour, Murray has a chance to get regular minutes under his belt after a torrid period of absence.
