Celtic Make €11 Million Rated Midfielder Their Top Target – Report
Celtic is setting their sights on one of the Bundesliga’s emerging stars, Augsburg’s Arne Engels, making him a top target for this transfer window, according to a report from FootballTransfers.

Celtic could watch Matt O’Riley leave this summer and are sounding out replacements. They’ve already brought Bernardo back to the club after a successful loan, but Engels could also make a Parkhead move.

Since joining Augsburg in January 2023, the 20-year-old Belgian has played across the midfield, from defensive to attacking, making him a potential replacement for O’Riley.
According to the report, his transfer value could reach €11 million (£9.5 million), which would see another big transfer fee for Celtic this summer. Celtic have reportedly agreed on a record-breaking fee for Adam Idah, who is expected to be announced as a Celtic player in the next few days.
There are just over two weeks left in the transfer window, with Celtic still expected to make a few moves.

If a deal for Oreily is in the making, then a replacement with decent money spent upon such a player, will also be a demand within the club also imo?
Could well be looking at a similar situation next summer with Hatate imo?
So still a level of stability has to be formed within our midfield areas, that potentially goes beyond just this coming season in mind imo?
So potentially another younger player with massive potential could well keep the balance right within the midfield areas, and helping to form stability at the same time for ourselves imo?
Still think another experienced could well be added also, if Oreily was to move on also imo?
