I can’t bear it anymore:Aston villa key player threaten to leave and never return again….

Aston Villa are preparing for the opening of the January transfer window, where Monchi will have the opportunity to improve Unai Emery’s squad for the second half of the campaign.

Villa made a brilliant start to the season, winning five of their first eight league matches and their opening three Champions League games too, but then lost four matches in a row before the November international break. Villa signed seven players in the summer, but only Amadou Onana, Ian Maatsen, Ross Barkley and Jaden Philogene stayed in the first-team while Lewis Dobbin, Samuel Iling-Junior and Enzo Barrenechea left on loan.

Due to injury, Olsen wasn’t named in either matchday squads, leaving the position to Gauci. So while we still don’t know who Emery views as his direct replacement for Emi Martinez, Olsen could be moved on in the winter window if a deal suits all parties.

Reports in Olsen’s native Sweden claim that Malmo are interested in signing him and centre-back Pontus Jansson has revealed he has spoken with the goalkeeper about the possibility of joining.

“I don’t think I need to persuade him, but we know each other well, so we’ll see what happens,” the defender told Fotbollskanalen. When quizzed if he had held talks with Olsen, Jansson explained: “He’s one of my closest friends, so we talk a lot, sometimes a bit of MFF [Malmo] too, but not too much.”

Olsen joined Villa on an initial loan in January 2022, before he penned a permanent contract with the club in June later that year. He signed from AS Roma after being capped over 50 times by his country, while also representing clubs in Sweden, Greece, Denmark, Italy and England previously.

Diego Carlos courted interest in the summer, but a move away from Villa never materialised. If he had left, Villa would have looked to sign Lutsharel Geertruida from Feyenoord. The Dutch international signed for RB Leipzig instead because Villa couldn’t bring him in due to the size of their squad and financial restrictions.
