Breaking News:Son Heung-min ‘to leave Tottenham for just £10m’…

Martin Allen has urged Tottenham to cash in on Son Heung-Min this summer but believes he is only worth between £10million and £15million.

The South Korean international has struggled for goal output in recent weeks, summed up by his performance in the League Cup semi-final against Liverpool.

The 32-year-old has been substituted 14 times so far this campaign, showing how his importance has dwindled under Ange Postecoglou this season.

As a result, former Brentford manager Allen believes Spurs should sell the forward in the summer but thinks he is worth just £10m-15m.

Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Allen said: “He’s been a fantastic player for Tottenham and he’s admired by fans of all teams.

“I think it is fair to say that he is starting to slow down, he hasn’t got the same energy and pace that he once had and of course, once that happens it is best for clubs to sell.

“In the summer, I think he’ll be a player that Spurs look to move on after what has been a great career. I think a lot of clubs be interested in him.

“What would he be worth? He’s maybe a £10m-15m player. It would also depend on his contract because that will have an impact on the fee.“

Son Heung-min could leave Tottenham for £10m

It would certainly be a blow for the Lilywhites to lose their skipper but at 32, it could be a wise move to cash in while they can.

With the PSR landscape that all Premier League clubs are forced to deal with, bringing in a fee for someone who could eventually depart for nothing could prove to be wise.

Whether Spurs can only bring in £10m-15m or may seek to generate more income from a sale, a summer departure for Son wouldn’t necessarily come as a shock.
