Breaking News:Rangers transfer round-up: Igamane exit mooted already, Kieran Dowell exit twist…
Hamza Igamane is already being tipped to leave Rangers next summer as Ibrox News rounds up the latest transfer stories.
While there have been plenty of reports linking the Gers with multiple incomings and outgoings, Ibrox has not witnessed any actual movement as of yet.
Philippe Clement added several exciting players to the squad, including the likes of Igamane, Vaclav Cerny and Nedim Bajrami, but an injury crisis has left the Light Blues needing reinforcements.
Rangers eye Kevin Mantilla, transfer on the cards
While Leon Balogun and James Tavernier both returned to the squad against Aberdeen, Clement is still without Jack Butland, Dujon Sterling, John Souttar, Neraysho Kasanwirjo and Tom Lawrence.
According to Nacho Castellano [16 January], the Gers have “consulted” over a move for 21-year-old Kevin Mantilla, who will be allowed to depart Talleras if suitable offers arrive.
It is understood the Light Blues will need to act quickly to secure the Colombian’s signature, with several foreign clubs taking an interest in the player.
Hamza Igamane already in line for Ibrox exit?
Keith Jackson does not believe the Gers will be able to resist offers for their in-form striker in the summer window, Hamza Igamane, as he continues to impress in all competitions.
It has been suggested that if a £10million bid were to be submitted, the club would feel compelled to cash in for major profit on the 22-year-old, who has 13 goals in 25 appearances this season.
Kieran Dowell transfer twist emerges in England update
Midfielder Kieran Dowell is likely to secure a move south of the border this month, with the player no longer in Clement’s long-term plans at Ibrox, as per Chris Jack.
The 27-year-old only arrived in Glasgow in the summer of 2023, since playing 32 matches for the Gers, and he is now expected to depart before the winter transfer window slams shut on 3 February.
