Breaking News:Rangers’ Champions League qualifying opponents revealed

Rangers have been drawn against the winners of Dynamo Kyiv and FK Partizan in the Champions League third qualifying round.

The Ibrox club will face a trip away to either the Ukrainian or Serbian club before the return leg in Scotland.

Should it be Dynamo Kyiv, then Rangers would be travelling to Lublin in Poland where the Ukrainian side will play their matches this season.

The matches are scheduled to be played on August 6-7 and then on August 13.

A Rangers statement after the draw read: “We will face FC Dynamo Kyiv or FK Partizan in the @ChampionsLeague third qualifying round.

“Supporters should not make any travel arrangements for either leg until all the details for the matches have been confirmed by UEFA.

“This should be communicated later this week. Ticketing information for both legs will be announced in the days following the confirmation of the details.”

If Rangers progress beyond the third qualifying round they will enter the play-off round. A win there would see Rangers qualify for the revamped Champions League league format.
