BREAKING NEWS:Queens Park Rangers vs Coventry City kick-off time has been reschedule few minutes ago…
Former Coventry City loan man Jake Clarke-Salter is a doubt for QPR ahead of tonight’s Championship clash at Loftus Road.
Just one point separates the two clubs with Rangers bottom of the second tier in 24th and the Sky Blues teetering above the relegation zone in 21st. Marti Cifuentes has not won a league fixture since August and Mark Robins has one Championship win in his last eight. It is, therefore, an early six-pointer at the bottom of the division.
QPR could arguably do with some added bite and experience in midfield but that won’t come from veteran Jack Colback. The 34-year-old underwent surgery on a knee problem and will need ‘a few weeks’ to recover.

Cifuentes told LondonWorld: “Jack Colback has unfortunately had to have small surgery on his knee. Against Sheffield Wednesday he got [what seemed] a minor injury but, in the end, conservative treatment was not enough. It will take some weeks for him to recover.”
Summer signing Liam Morrison also has a knee problem and will miss out on Tuesday night. Another defensive injury concern comes in Clarke-Salter.
The 27-year-old, who had a season-long spell with the Sky Blues in 2021/22, hasn’t played since the London derby against Millwall last month and has suffered a recent setback in his recovery. Rayan Kolli is a doubt, having not been in the Championship squad since August.
Morgan Fox deputised for Clarke-Salter in Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at home to Portsmouth but gave the ball away in the build-up to Freddie Potts equalising after Karamoko Dembele’s opener. And Fox gave away a second-half penalty by hacking down Callum Lang, who tucked away the resulting spot-kick.
