BREAKING NEWS;Leeds United deal done collapsed after paying €2.5millions to…
Leeds United are going to have to gain promotion in order to put the power back in their hands over Jack Harrison’s loan clause, currently wasting money in the eyes of Don Goodman.
Going down brought a massive headache for the 49ers as they inherited some incredibly bizarre contract clauses from the previous regime under Andrea Radrizzani.
Multiple players were free to leave the club on loan, including Jack Harrison, whose contract has allowed him to remain out on loan at Everton so long as Leeds aren’t promoted.
The hope for Leeds is that Harrison’s loan spell at Goodison Park will see him impress the Toffees decision-makers enough to earn a permanent move.
However, that doesn’t look like being the case, as journalist Graeme Bailey told LeedsUnited.news, sharing that Sean Dyche’s uncertain long-term future casts doubt over Everton wanting to keep Harrison.
So far this season, Harrison is yet to register a goal or assist in Everton colours, amidst serious complaints from fans about his performances.
Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman has given his thoughts on the prospect of Harrison staying out on loan, or worse not being sold at all in the coming months.
