Breaking News:Kasper Schmeichel potential Celtic future boost as Denmark manager change
Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has made quite the start since arriving on a free transfer during the summer transfer window.
The 37-year-old has enjoyed a successful reunion with Brendan Rodgers so far after the pair worked in tandem at Leicester City during a three-year spell.
Despite going six Scottish Premiership matches without conceding once, Schmeichel couldn’t deny Ronan Hale from converting his second attempt last Sunday as the Denmark international was adjudged to have come off his line when initially keeping out the Ross County striker last Sunday from the spot.

No matter, Celtic were able to get the job done against the Staggies and stayed on course ahead of their top of the table clash against Aberdeen next Sunday.
Now on international duty, Schmeichel will hope to star for Denmark in their Nations League double-header against Spain and Switzerland.

Incredibly, the ex-Anderlecht man is potentially set to win his 108th and 109th caps for his country, adding to his incredible legacy within Danish football.
Nevertheless, Denmark are in a state of managerial transition with Lars Knudsen and former Hoops icon Morten Wieghorst in interim charge. Could this offer a clue about his international future?
Schmeichel’s Denmark clue and potential for future Celtic boost
Last month, Celtic’s Schmeichel admitted ‘uncertainty’ over his long-term Denmark future, with the potential for an eventual new manager to take their squad selection in an alternative direction.
Touching on the subject, he stated: “It’s football. We’ve all experienced it before at various clubs, with coaching changes and uncertainty. It’s part of football.”
