Breaking News:Julen Lopetegui sack certain at West Ham, David Sullivan has 48 hours to save season…
David Sullivan needs to relieve Julen Lopetegui of his managerial duties at West Ham United right now after their 5-2 loss in the Premier League against Arsenal on Saturday.
The Hammers may have just come off the back of a decent win against Newcastle that bought the Spaniard some extra time, but after their performance against the Gunners on 30 November, it’s evident that there’s nothing more for the former Wolves boss to do at the club.
The club spent massive sums of money in the summer to try and bolster their ranks to gear them up for a run at the European places, but instead things couldn’t be further away from that.
It feels like West Ham have no vision, no style of play and Lopetegui likely still doesn’t know the best way to line up his team.
If David Sullivan is serious about his club and wants to save their season, he has to try and find a new manager to take the reins and get rid of Lopetegui in the next 48 hours in time for the clash with Leicester City next midweek.
Why Edin Terzic could be the ideal solution for West Ham
Fans and pundits alike have questioned where the future of Lopetegui lies since the start of the season, and the Hammers didn’t come out all guns blazing.
Of course, there have been games this season where the club have shocked those watching and have beaten the likes of Manchester United and Newcastle, but those wins seem to come too few and far between one another.
Terzic’s name has been linked with a switch to London since questions were first being asked about Lopetegui’s role.
