Breaking News:Hamza Igamane value to treble after new Rangers transfer developments

Sven Vandebroeck believes that Hamza Igamane could treble his value in the next year at Rangers.

The Belgian was the manager who fast-tracked the Morocco international to senior football while he was in charge of ASFAR Rabat.

Igamane signed for Rangers for £1.7million [Daily Record], a figure which has already been backed to skyrocket after just two cameo appearances.

Speaking to the Daily Record on 16 September, Vandebroeck admitted that the Bears got a deal over the line at exactly the right moment for the striker.

“He went into the first team and for two years in a row, he scored a lot of goals,” he said. “He won the championship with his team so that catches the eye of a lot of clubs, especially in France.

“So it was the right moment to buy him. If he would play another year or maybe two I think his price would be two or three times higher than what Rangers have paid now.”

Hamza Igamane could be the next big thing at Rangers

Since arriving at Ibrox, Igamane has made just two appearances.

However, during those games, the striker has made a name for himself with some even calling for the striker to start ahead of Cyriel Dessers against Dundee in the Premier Sports Cup.

The striker is just 21 years old and already managed to make a name for himself in his home country.

Over the last two seasons, the attacker managed to bag 16 goals for ASFAR Rabat, also adding eight assists with his link-up qualities.

Philippe Clement has taken his time to introduce the striker to his first team fold but with Danilo sidelined for the foreseeable future [Chris Jack], it seems as if the Morocco international will now finally be getting some game time.

The cup tie against Dundee would be an ideal time for Igamane to get the first start of his Ibrox career and, should he manage to impress, he could even be chosen over Dessers in the league in the future.

In other Rangers news, Steven Gerrard has spoken out about a potential return to Ibrox.
