BREAKING NEWS;Brighton & Hove Albion vs Tottenham Hotspur English Premier League kick-off time has been rescheduled
TOTTENAHM HOTSPUR will be bidding to bounce back from a bruising North London derby defeat when they travel to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday evening.
Antonio Conte’s side saw their seven-game unbeaten start in the English premier League grind to a halt with a 3-1 reverse away to arch-rivals Arsenal.
That setback means Spurs remain third in the standings, however they now trail their North London neighbours by four points.
After playing out a forgetful 0-0 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League in midweek, Tottenham will be keen to get back on track when they make the trip to Brighton this weekend.
Roberto De Zerbi’s Seagulls tenure opened in sensational style as the Italian’s first game in charge ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw away at Liverpool.
As such, Brighton have banked 14 points from the opening seven games of the season and they will be eager to add to that excellent tally when they entertain Tottenham on Saturday evening.
Outright Betting
Brighton, who have avoided defeat in 11 of their last 12 Premier League matches, are slight outsiders at 15/8 (UniBet) while a share of the spoils on the south coast pays 12/5 (Bet 365).
Tottenham picked up a victory at this venue back in March and the same outcome on Saturday can be backed at a best 18/11 (SBK).
Betting Angles
There isn’t a huge amount of appeal in the outright betting here but backing both teams to score looks like a worthy alternative at 4/5 with William Hill.
While Brighton have once again proven themselves to be a tough nut to crack this season, they could struggle to keep out top-heavy Tottenham.
Antonio Conte’s side are the third-top scorers in the Premier League season, with the capital club scoring at least once in each of their eight outings thus far.
