BREAKING NEWS;Brentford vs West Ham United English Premier League kick-off time has been rescheduled

Both Brentford and West Ham United will be bidding to return to winning ways in the Premier League when the London rivals collide at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Thomas Frank’s team took the lead away at Tottenham inside just 22 seconds last weekend before going on to lose 3-1, bringing up my recommended Bet Builder along the way.

That defeat means the Bees have lost back-to-back matches in the Premier League for the first time this season, though both of those games were away from home.

Back at their west London base this weekend, Brentford will look to get back in the winning groove by banking all three points against West Ham.

The Hammers put in a defensive horror show last Saturday when being swept aside 3-0 by Chelsea at the London Stadium, a pitiful performance that has seen their relegation odds plummet.

Things went from bad to worse for Julen Lopetegui’s side in the EFL Cup in midweek, as they were trounced 5-1 by Liverpool at Anfield.

How the bookies view it: Bees to get their buzz back

Brentford – who have won each of their previous two Premier League home games this season – are 23/20 favourites on Betano.

West Ham have collected each of their four Premier League points on their travels this term but the bookies odds suggest they will come away empty-handed here, with a Hammers success trading at 2/1 (Betano) while a point apiece has been priced up at 13/5 (Betano).

Head to head: Not a happy hunting ground for the Hammers

West Ham have crashed to defeat in each of their previous three visits to this venue whilst on Premier League duty.

In fact, the Hammers’ 4-2 win over Brentford at the London Stadium last season is their only top-flight triumph against the Bees in the previous six league meetings between the pair.
