Joao Felix is unlikely to leave Chelsea in January with the situation around the player quiet according to Fabrizio Romano.
Felix joined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid in the summer in a deal worth £45m and signed a long term contract at Stamford Bridge.

The 25-year-old had previously spent time on loan with Blues during the 2022/2023 campaign and he was one of three high profile attacking signings in the summer with Jadon Sancho and Pedro Neto.
Romano provides update on Felix
Competition for places in the attacking third at Chelsea is fierce and Felix hasn’t featured as much as he would have liked to.
The Portugal international has started just two Premier League games this campaign, whilst he’s been an unused substitute on seven occasions.

Felix showed frustration back in November when it was clear he wasn’t going to come on against Arsenal, and Enzo Maresca has spoken about the Portuguese as a solution to getting more out of Palmer, but the pair have started just two games together.
The former Atletico man has fared better in the Conference League where he’s scored four goals in five appearances, but he will want to establish himself as a regular in the Premier League.
Some reports had suggested Felix could be looking for a way out of Stamford Bridge just six months after joining but Romano has moved to clarify the situation.
“Joao has just arrived on a permanent deal four months ago, I don’t see Chelsea changing their stance on Joao in January. At the moment, the situation is completely quiet,” he told GIVE ME SPORT.
