Breaking news: Philipp Clement opens up on Adam Devine contract with Birmingham City…..
Birmingham City are looking at signing Adam Devine from Rangers during the January transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.
The Daily Mail are reporting (9 January) that the Blues are looking to snap up Devine on a cheap deal ahead of the expiry of his contract in the summer.
According to the report, the 21-year-old is currently at a crossroads in his career given he’s played just 11 times for the senior side and spent the second half of last season on loan at Motherwell.
Adam Devine could leave Rangers
It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Devine leave Ibrox in January with Alan Nixon having reported (5 January) that West Brom are also interested in the defender.

Despite getting his first team debut for the Gers in 2022, the 21-year-old has had limited first-team opportunities since and it would surely be more beneficial for him to make a move to get regular football elsewhere.
With Birmingham currently sitting at the top of League One, searching for promotion back to the second tier, it’s no surprise to see the side are looking for further reinforcements to see the squad through until the end of the campaign.
Although the Blues are looking at this deal as one to be done on the cheap, given the defender is out of contract in the summer, the Light Blues may see it well worth cashing in for a small fee as his contract winds down.
In other Rangers news, the Glasgow-based outfit have made “contact” for the transfer of a centre-back already.
