BREAKING NEWS :Oxford United vs Derby County kick-off time has been reschedule few minutes ago..
Derby County will look to build on their first away point of the Championship season tomorrow night when they tackle fellow promoted side Oxford United.
With Paul Warne’s side fresh from their 1-1 draw at Millwall on Saturday, Derby head to face Des Buckingham’s side looking for their first away win of the season in the second tier.
Derby currently sit 12th in the Championship table after the weekend’s results and face a Us side that, like the Rams, has had a decent start to the campaign after promotion from League One.
The injury situation ahead of the game has improved greatly with Callum Elder, Ben Osborn, Sonny Bradley, Liam Thompson and Tom Barkhuizen having returned after being on the sidelines. However Ryan Nyambe, who injured his knee on Saturday, and Tawanda Chirewa are both out.
After playing at the weekend, Warne must decide whether to freshen up his starting XI, with Nathaniel Mendez-Laing a likely candidate to return after he was named on the bench for the trip to the New Den at the weekend. Here Derby writer Leigh Curtis names his predicted team to face Oxford tomorrow night and we would like yours too.
