The news outlet reported on 20 December that Gers have kept a close eye on the South Africa forward and interest has intensified over the last few days.

With the January transfer window just around the corner, the Ibrox outfit appear keen on bringing in a goal scorer.

However, it’s important that he has a quick impact as he’s 29 so the club cannot wait for a few years before he hits his peak.
