BEST SIGNING EVER;Leeds United Fc has signed their dream player finally few minutes ago

Leeds United are still planning to sign a new striker before the close of the transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.

The paper reported via their website on 24 August that with Tottenham’s Manor Solomon undergoing a medical ahead of a loan switch to Elland Road the Whites are still hoping to make a pair of additional signings after the Israeli.

A forward and a full-back are on the cards for Daniel Farke ahead of the deadline, after the German saw a number of high-profile stars leave this summer.

The Athletic reported on 16 August that another midfielder was wanted in addition to a full-back, and two attacking recruits, in the wake of Georginio Rutter’s and Crysencio Summerville’s departures.

Daniel Farke set for Patrick Bamford replacement?

Solomon arriving after Largie Ramazani from Almeria would nominally fill the gaps left behind by Summerville and Rutter.

Mateo Joseph broke out with an excellent performance in the 2-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday [Sky Sports, 23 August] to suggest he could also be a regular in the XI this term.

But after Rutter’s departure the central forward areas are a confused picture, with both Patrick Bamford and Joel Piroe excellent on their day but well below that level at other times.

One of the two senior forwards was expected to be sold this summer [Daily Mail, 1 July] but it looks impossible for Bamford to leave before the deadline and satisfactory offers clearly haven’t come forth for Piroe.

The Englishman missed the trip to Hillsborough thanks to his latest injury lay-off to put his longer-term spot in the match day squad at risk.

Discussions have been held on Hammarby striker Jusef Erabi [Marc Mechenoua, 19 August], so he could be a candidate to fill the market requirement up top but it looks tricky to sign another without one incumbent leaving.
