SHOCKING NEWS:Sean Dyche confirmed the suspension of two key players few minutes ago
Sean Dyche’s future at Goodison Park remains up in the air as there is a lot of speculation about what will happen once the Friedkin Group takeover goes ahead, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that the new owners will bring their own ideas.
The Friedkin Group will be set to make their own decisions on how to move the club forward, which could lead to a managerial change if they determine Dyche isn’t the right man for the job.
The latest rumours have linked former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri to the role, as he is a top target for the Friedkin Group if they do decide to make a change in management.
Sarri is highly regarded in coaching circles and did a great job in Italy when he took charge of Napoli but had mixed success with Chelsea.
Sarri was able to win the Europa League with the Blues but faltered in the Premier League, which ended up costing him his job.
Sean Dyche’s future remains questionable as a full-scale Everton review is set
Sources tell Football Insider that the Friedkin Group are planning a full-scale review of the running of Everton once they get their feet under the table at Goodison Park.
They are set to have value at everything, and Dyche’s future will likely depend on where the club sit in the table at the time.
The Merseyside club are currently sit 16th in the table after getting their first win of the season in the Premier League last week against Crystal Palace.
If Dyche can guide Everton to a run like he did last season and build some momentum things could change when the takeover happens.
