Breaking News:Rangers v Hibs confirmed XI – Philippe Clement makes bizarre decision
Philippe Clement has named the starting eleven as Rangers are set to take on Hibs at Ibrox on Sunday, 29 September.
The Belgian has made the baffling decision to omit Nedim Bajrami from the playing eleven as well as Cyriel Dessers.
Hamza Igamane and Ross McCausland instead have been handed a start against Hibs.
Nedim Bajrami deserved to start for Rangers
Bajrami, a new signing at Ibrox, appears to have hit the ground running in Glasgow.
He showcased just why Gers signed him this summer with an impressive display against Malmo.
The Albanian opened the scoring in the first minute of the game and constantly looked to make things happen in the final third.
His exploits would’ve come in handy against a Hibs side expected to sit back and let the game come to him.
Hibs have a few key players missing and the onus is on the hosts to take the initiative from minute one and make things hard for their opponents.
Clement’s side are in third place and find themselves eight points behind Celtic, albeit having played a game less.
Hopefully, they will have no real problems getting past Hibs in the next few hours and will give their fans a positive way to end the week.
It remains to be seen just how things transpire as it’s easier said than done in football which is an unpredictable sport.
In other Rangers news, the club have been slammed for “scandalous” behaviour as “terrible” news has emerged recently.
