RANGERS and Hibs meet for the second time in three weeks on Saturday as the title race resumes after the international break.

Philippe Clement’s men have only played one game in the league this month, which they surprisingly lost at home to Motherwell

Since they blew a great chance of advancing to the quarter finals of the Europa League by losing at home to Benfica after returning to Ibrox with a 2-2 draw after the first leg.

In between they went to Easter Road and knocked Hibs out of the Scottish Cup with a controversial win with the hosts being reduced to nine men.

That defeat apart, Hibs are definitely on the upwards curve and have improved after what had been a disappointing season under Nick Montgomery, who was under real pressure not so long ago.

In fact, that defeat to Rangers was their only loss in the last eight games and with their huge cash injection under the stewardship of Bill Foley for next season, it’s an exciting time to be a Hibs fan.

But they’ve been unable to lay a glove on Rangers for a long time and this is tricky as it gets.

How the bookies view it

Rangers are huge favourites here at 2/7 with Coral. Hibs can be backed at 9/1 with William Hill and the draw is 11/2 with Paddy Power.

Recent head to heads

Rangers have been perfect in all three meetings with Hibs, having won all the games and not conceding a goal yet.

In fact, Rangers have won the last six meetings and haven’t lost to Hibs in three years.

Players to watch

Cyriel Dessers is a man who divides the fans who think he should be scoring more goals. However, he netted for Nigeria during the international break and that was his 17th goal of the season. He is 6/5 to score anytime with bet365.
