Nottingham Forest boss Nuno names team to face Elche in pre-season friendly
Latest Nottingham Forest news as Nuno Espirito Santo’s Reds take on Spanish opposition at Pinatar Arena
Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has named his Nottingham Forest team to face Elche in tonight’s pre-season friendly.
The match against the Spanish outfit brings to a close the Reds’ training camp in Spain. It is the third of three games Nuno’s side have played at the Pinatar Arena and their fourth outing of the summer in total.
Forest are unbeaten in their preparations for the upcoming Premier League campaign so far. Wins over Millwall and Chesterfield came either side of a draw with Sunderland.
New signings Carlos Miguel, Elliot Anderson, Eric da Silva Moreira and Nikola Milenkovic have all been able to get minutes under their belts. And Milenkovic and Anderson are in the starting XI this evening.
A back three of Milenkovic, Willy Boly and Murillo will line up ahead of goalkeeper Matz Sels. It is a big boost for the Reds to have Anderson fit to start after he was forced off against Millwall in midweek after being on the receiving end of a heavy challenge. He will partner captain Ryan Yates in the centre of the pitch.
