“I couldn’t tolerate it any longer”,QB Devin Leary confesses after Slapping Coach Mark Pope over..
The Kentucky Wildcats are starting to hone in on their top prospects for the 2025 class as they look to find the best system to complement Mark Pope’s offensive scheme.
One of those players is 4-star guard Braylon Mullins. Arguably one of the best fits for the system Pope will run at UK, things in his recruitment have started to shift away from the Cats recently, specifically after the Jasper Johnson commitment.
Well, it appears that Coach Pope and his staff have made some inroads against that thought.
According to a report by Jack Pilgrim of KSR, coming off a visit to North Carolina this weekend, Mullins has canceled all of his remaining official visits except for one… his visit to Kentucky.
Two trips stand out amongst the cancellations: Duke (Oct 4-6) and Tennessee (Oct 18-20).
Overall, it still seems like this could be an uphill battle for the Cats as they look to fight off UConn and his home-state school, the Indiana Hoosiers.
Seems like this visit will tell just how big of a threat the Cats are in this recruitment. At least at this point, it seems like his chances of making the visit are pretty decent.
Going to be another recruitment to follow closely.
