Rangers best player has declared his career is over due to…
The club haven’t been through the best of times in terms of ownership in recent seasons and need someone reliable to come through the doors.
Speaking on the Daily Record’s Hotline live (16 September), Jackson shared that Rangers are “ready-made” for an American investor.
“I do know that there are groups of potential investors in America and other countries who are constantly monitoring the European market,” Jackson said. They’re] constantly looking for clubs who might get them access into the Champions League or access into high-level European football.
“Rangers are ready-made for that. It wouldn’t take a lot because let’s get it right, if you’re competing in Scotland and you’re Celtic or Rangers, if you’re not qualifying for Europe each year then it’s an absolute disaster.”Rangers are quite an interesting case. The club are one of the best teams in Scotland but seem to constantly be outdone by arch-rivals Celtic of late.Especially since Steven Gerrard left, the club have found themselves in the Bhoys’ shadow more often than not, aside from when they managed to reach the Europa League final, of course.
The fact that Bennett resigned from his role threw yet another spanner in the works while the club were already under fire for their 2024/25 performances. However, there are the odd few who believe King would bring success back to Ibrox due to his previous performance.
Only time will tell what will happen at Rangers but one thing is for sure, if their situation isn’t sorted soon, the club will find themselves in a rather rocky situation.
