Tottenham star reveals major North London derby team news hours before Arsenal match
Tottenham take on Arsenal in the latest iteration of the North London derby on Sunday with both Ange Postecoglou and Mikel Arteta left with a number of decisions to make on their XIs
Tottenham will have star striker Dominic Solanke BACK for the North London derby, if Richarlison is to be believed.
The 27-year-old has endured a frustrating start for his new club following a £65m summer move from Bournemouth. He picked up an injury on his debut against Leicester and has been sidelined since.
He returned to training this week, albeit Solanke remained a doubt for the game. But Richarlison – who is also sidelined with his own injury – seems sure that the forward will be playing given his latest social media activity.
Richarlison replied to that post with a prediction that Son Heung-min would be providing Solanke with his first Spurs goal against Arsenal. The Brazilian wrote: “Sonny will give you a gift tomorrow bro.”
Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou had given an update on his side earlier this week and neither refused to rule Solanke out – or indeed suggest he could start. He also gave an insight into the fitness of defender Micky van de Ven.
