Breaking News:Philippe Clement ‘danger’ emerges at Rangers after recent Ianis Hagi decision
Philippe Clement is in “danger” of making the discussion around Ianis Hagi’s future an “even bigger talking point”, according to Chris Jack.
The Romanian international is yet to feature for the Light Blues’ first team this season with the Gers boss confirming that he doesn’t view the attacking midfielder as part of his plans in Glasgow.
Hagi is yet to find himself a move away from Ibrox and while he is still expected to remain away from the first team, Rangers Review journalist Jack says the discussion around his future will only grow if results remain poor.
Speaking on The Rangers Review YouTube channel (9 September, 18:05) he said: “I think the fear or the danger for the manager, if you like, is that if things don’t go well over the next couple of weeks and that number 10 becomes an even bigger talking point.
“We know this momentum is going to build of give Hagi a game, why not give him a chance, the manager has made a mess of this, the club has made a mess of this, why’s he not playing?
“Ultimately, both parties have set out their stall, the manager has made his call on it and he has to live and die by this decision.”
Will Ianis Hagi exit Rangers amid Ibrox transfer speculation?
If Rangers were top of the Premiership and had managed to beat Celtic at Parkhead before the international break, supporters and pundits alike wouldn’t have even discussed the fact Hagi remained out of the picture.
But the Light Blues’ dismal display in the Old Firm clash partnered with the clear lack of depth in the number 10 role currently means that sections of the fanbase are keen to see the attacking midfielder reintegrated.

Unless Clement’s side returns from the break firing on all cylinders with the likes of Tom Lawrence and Nedim Bajrami impressing from the off, more and more fans will be accusing the manager of getting this decision wrong.
The pressure is already on the Belgian to turn things around on the pitch with some pundits suggesting he could be sacked if the Gers lose to Dundee United, but the circus around Hagi has made that match even more important.
