GOOD NEWS:A key player has just arrived from..
Nottingham Forest enjoyed a successful transfer window this summer and added 11 new players to the squad.
In terms of outgoing deals, however, things might not quite be finished just yet for Forest.
The Reds have a number of players who might not feature much this season and the transfer windows remain open in some countries.
One of those is in Greece and with Olympiacos having a relationship with Forest perhaps there is still some business to be done.
Forest have sent two players – Marko Stamenic and David Carmo – to Olympiacos and now other players might be set to make the switch.
Nicolas Dominguez wanted by Olympiacos
According to reports in Greece, a move that will see the midfielder leave Forest and sign for Olympiacos is now extremely close.
Dominguez signed for Forest in the summer of 2023 in a deal that saw Forest pay £8 million and part exchange Remo Freuler.
Last season he produced the goods for Forest, scoring twice and claiming three assists from 32 appearances for the Reds.
His form was so good that he was called ‘fantastic’ by TNT Sports commentator Darren Fletcher who it seems is a big fan.
This isn’t the first time that Dominguez has been linked with an exit from Forest, with Galatasaray linked previously.
Now, Evangelos Marinakis could be about to do an inter-club deal and take Dominguez from the fringes at Forest to the first team at Olympiacos.
Forest would be wise to let Dominguez depart
It’s worth noting that Forest are now at their limit as per FIFA regulations when it comes to the number of players any one club can send out on loan.
With that in mind, Olympiacos would have to buy Dominguez but that might not be a bad thing.
The 26-year-old didn’t get on the pitch on Saturday and although Danilo is injured, Forest now have James Ward-Prowse to welcome into the squad.
