Breaking News:Todd Cantwell medical verdict shared as Rangers exit update emerges
Rangers midfielder Todd Cantwell is unlikely to fail his medical at Blackburn despite the lack of first-team training and game time this season, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that if he is to be re-integrated into the Gers side should he fail to seek a move away from the club, the process should not take too long either.
This comes after Chris Jack reported on 27 August that Blackburn have made an approach for the 26-year-old who could leave Ibrox permanently.
Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“Despite the fact that he’s seemingly bee frozen out of the first team, it’s very unlikely to increase his chance of failing a medical.
“However, what it will do is make for a longer runway to build up fitness.
“If re-integrated and does not leave Rangers, it would be gradual but I imagine relatively quick at this stage.“
Todd Cantwell should have no way back at Rangers
Cantwell has twice told Philippe Clement that he wants to leave and that’s why the Belgian has kept him away from the rest of the squad.

It’s clear that he does not want to be at the club and even when he was a first-team regular, his performances were nothing beyond ordinary.
Hopefully, Gers can find a way to get him out of the club in the next few days and use that money to sign a replacement.
