DEAL CONFIRMED:A talented wingers from leeds signs a life contract with Celtic few minutes ago
Leeds United are looking to bolster their attacking department in the final few days of the transfer window.
The Whites lost Crysencio Summerville, Archie Gray and Georginio Rutter this summer, and they need some quality players to fill the void.
Daniel Farke’s side are close to signing Manor Solomon on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, but Leeds need one or two more players in their attacking areas.
The Whites scouts have watched the 22-year-old player last season on several occasions.
Belloumi joined Farense from MC Oran and has made 41 appearances in all competitions for the club. He has been impressive for the Portuguese club last season, and Leeds see as one of their targets this summer.
He has played all three games for Farense in the new campaign. The winger has a contract at the club until 2027, and he has a release clause of around £12.6 million.
There is no indication that Leeds would make a move for him this summer, but it appears that he is someone the club has regularly followed. And the Whites know how much they need to pay to bring him to Elland Road.
He could be a long-term target for the Whites, and there is no urgency at the moment to strike a deal for him.
Leeds have signed five players already. Joe Rodon, Alex Cairns, Jayden Bogle and Largue Ramazani have joined permanently, while Joe Rothwell has joined on a season-long loan from AFC Bournemouth.
The Whites have been linked with a move for Roland Sallai, and he would be a more appealing option than Belloumi at this stage.
